Mike Darcy, LMFT
My professional orientation is rooted in Attachment Theory, and Developmental psychology. My approach incorporates trauma-focused CBT, solution-focused brief therapy, and cognitive based techniques. I also provide alternative modalities, such as, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an effective treatment for post-traumatic stress, trauma, and anxiety related issues.
I’ve been practicing marriage and family therapy over 10 years, I have experience with youth, couples and family. My practice currently focuses on working with individual adults experiencing post-traumatic stress, trauma, anxiety and relational issues. My clients are predominately veterans, and first responders, however, I work with all who experience post-traumatic stress, trauma, anxiety, adjustment related issues, life changes, and relational difficulties. I’m retired U.S. Navy, and prior law-enforcement, providing a unique perspective within military and law-enforcement communities.
