Mike Darcy, LMFT
My professional orientation is rooted in Attachment Theory, and Developmental psychology. My approach incorporates trauma-informed care, solution-focused brief therapy, and cognitive based techniques. I also provide alternative modalities, such as, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an effective treatment for post-traumatic stress, and trauma related issues.
I’ve been practicing marriage and family therapy for 8 years, providing therapeutic services for at-risk youth and their families, school based social and emotional counseling, and post-traumatic work with veterans, and first responders. I’m retired U.S. Navy, and prior law-enforcement, which provides a unique perspective with active-duty, veteran, and law-enforcement communities. However, I work with all who experience anxiety, adjustment related issues, life changes, grief and loss, relational difficulties, trauma, and post-traumatic stress.
